Hi there! I'm Megan-the founder of Nurtured Nest Agency. As a homeschool mother of six, and entrepreneur, I understand firsthand the importance of how your children are being cared for. Sometimes the pressures, responsibilities, and expectations are overwhelming and we need to reach out for help.
There's been times where I've had to leave the home for work, and there's been seasons where I've managed it all from home. After our middle kids (twins) were born, I realized I couldn't do it all! With no family or grandparents in the state, I had to find someone I could trust. Someone to be "Mom 2.0" if I couldn't respond immediately. I was blessed with the best, and for the time that we needed her, our nanny was truly a God-send.

Once you select your preferred nanny, we guide you through interviews, trial periods, and onboarding to ensure a confident and successful placement.
How do you screen your nannies?

At this time, we are focused on finding part-time and full-time placements.
What is your placement fee?
Our placement fees reflect the high level of service, screening, and personalized matching we provide. Pricing varies based on the type of placement and level of support required. How do I apply for a nanny position with your agency?
Prospective nannies can apply by completing our online candidate application. Once submitted, our team will review your experience and qualifications and reach out if you are a strong fit for our client families.
What qualifications do you look for in candidates?
We seek experienced, professional caregivers who are dependable, nurturing, and aligned with our agency’s values. Strong references, childcare experience, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential.
Is there a fee to apply to join the agency as a nanny?
We do not charge placement fees to nannies. Our goal is to connect qualified candidates with exceptional families at no cost to you (the candidate).
What happens after I submit my application?
If selected, you will be invited to complete an interview and screening process. From there, we will begin presenting you with opportunities that align with your experience and availability.
How long does the placement process take?
Our typical placement timeline ranges from 2–6 weeks, depending on your family’s specific needs, schedule requirements, and the level of experience you’re seeking.
We prioritize quality over speed, carefully vetting candidates to ensure the right long-term fit for your home. While some placements happen more quickly, others may take additional time to find the perfect match.
Do you offer ongoing support after placement?
Yes! We remain available to both families and nannies after placement to ensure a smooth transition and continued success. Our goal is long-term, thriving relationships—not just placements. Continued consultation calls will happen periodically-for both nannies AND families-throughout the placement depending upon the length of the contract.
